CyberSecurity Intern Job description
Job Description: The intern will assist the RSC Department with duties as assigned and work with the group to provide support as needed.
Reliability Standards Compliance:
The RSC Team, and primarily the CyberSecurity Compliance Analyst will support the intern and help answer questions as they arise. The RSC Team will meet on a regular basis to discuss progress in the assigned areas and determine if additional resources are required for completion of assigned tasks.
Time Frame:
The intern is projected to work 40 hours/week for approximately 9-10 weeks beginning in late May, but some scheduled time off could be arranged within that timeframe.
Outcome:
Develop an understanding of Reliability Standards Compliance and CyberSecurity Processes within the utility.

CyberSecurity Intern Job description
Job Description: The intern will assist the RSC Department with duties as assigned and work with the group to provide support as needed.
Reliability Standards Compliance:
- Assist with Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards audits.
- Perform Procedural Reviews of critical functions including but not limited to:
- Review Windows Active Directory settings and recommend changes if necessary.
- Perform Network Access Reviews and recommend changes if necessary.
- Assist in creation or review of network drawings.
- Assist in creation and inventory of Corporate Level Policies, including review of policies within the CyberSecurity Strategic Plan.
- Participate in Cybersecurity Initiatives such as making recommendations for enhanced security for the different segments of the utility.

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good judgment and reasoning skills
- Problem identification, analysis, and solving
