TIAG is now hiring a Mid level Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team out of Fort Belvoir, VA. This position requires that the candidate hold an active Secret or be able to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.

This position reports onsite up to 2 days per week at Fort Belvoir.

Cybersecurity Engineer responsibilities:

  • Remote management, monitoring, and visibility to assets throughout the customer's environment utilize tools such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Tanium, Remedy, DameWare, ACAS, SCAP, and SYSMAN to provide desktop, laptop, and server asset inventory, remote control capabilities, and software and patch deployment.
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports to the team lead regarding the status of tasks completed such as the percentage of compliance or task completion on all SCCM tasks for the team.
  • Proactively prepare and test monthly updates and deploy them.
  • Creation and deployment of customized packages to meet operational requirements and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Customized reporting capability to provide enhanced insight into the operational environment.
  • Proactive monitoring and alert notifications of mission critical assets; provide infrastructure management and monitoring capabilities to include the server, network (wired and wireless), and virtualization environments.
  • Daily Proactive approach to maintaining environment such as cleaning up deployments for test groups or cleaning up duplicate systems or systems with no mac address.
  • Design, implement, and support other enterprise level applications to include, but not limited to, net-centric mass-notification systems, enterprise log collection, and asset portfolio management.
  • Support, maintain, and upgrade the operating systems, patching packages, and hardware upgrades.
  • Build automation into daily processes, including server builds, patching, and configuration analysis.
  • Manages all tasks related to Enterprise Management products, and other Cybersecurity compliance and remediation tools.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years prior DoD Experience, with progressive exposure to Cybersecurity engineering.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM including OSD, and Reporting.
  • Working knowledge of AD, GPO, Microsoft Server, and Desktop operating systems; able to edit registry and system configurations through automated solutions
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Microsoft SCCM Certification desired
  • Strong ability to communicate with leadership and provide status and recommendations regarding the technical environment using Microsoft Office products and tools.
  • Excellent working knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools such as ACAS and SCAP scans using Nessus.
  • Demonstrable experience providing unique, customizable solutions required.
  • Developing SCCM packages from the ground up optimized scripting solutions/utilizing languages such as VBscript, AutoIt, and Powershell is desired, but not required.
  • Automate package remediation
  • Active Secret clearance

Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
