Job Description:
This position reports to the Information Security Division located in Columbia. Incumbent will work with the security analyst team and under the guidance of the Security Operations Center (SOC) Lead. Incumbent will play a crucial role in monitoring and analyzing security events, responding to incidents, and ensuring the overall security of SCDEW's digital assets. Responsibilities include conducting security monitoring, analyzing logs and alerts, investigating potential threats, and assisting in implementing security controls and measures. This role will require a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles, a willingness to learn and grow in cyber realm, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in the field of cybersecurity.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A bachelor's degree and relevant training and experience; OR any equivalent combination of education, relevant training and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.
Preferred Qualifications
Comp TIA Security+ Certification. Experience with Microsoft 365 Defender and Exchange Online.
