Day to Day Responsibilities:
As a Cybersecurity engineer you will be at the forefront of design work that secures autonomous vehicles from cybersecurity threats. You will contribute to the Cyber Security activities for series production programs and provide assistance to the program team in delivering the work products of the security case and in complying with various regulations.
Lead cyber security activities in compliance with ISO 21434
Lead/Support Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) in collaboration with other functional engineers
Lead/Support Security Concept development
Lead/Support Security Requirement development, Security Requirement review, and work closely with functional engineers to ensure the execution of these requirements
Lead/Guide software engineers in vulnerability analysis (static code analysis, known vulnerability analysis) and support tracking cyber security implementation issues based on the vulnerability analysis
Lead/Support verification engineer in security verification test and its vulnerability management
Lead/Support fuzz testing activities and its vulnerability management
Lead/Support penetration testing activities and its vulnerability management
Guide and support the incident response team
Participate in Phase Reviews and Gate Reviews
Travel to customer engineering centers, and minimal travel overseas for collaboration and training
Education:
B.S. in Cybersecurity Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or Masters/PhD. degree in similar fields
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of ISO 21434 and/or UNECE WP.29 R155 is preferred.
Working knowledge of cyber security analysis and engineering tools
Experience with cyber security in embedded systems is preferred, experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is a plus
Working knowledge of MS Office packages (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of programming languages, such as C, C++, Python, or MATLAB
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly motivated individuals with effective organizational skills and team working abilitie
