We are seeking a Location Services Specialist in Chicago, Illinois. This role will be focused on handling the administrative and hospitality aspects of our workspace. The position involves a variety of tasks, from maintaining office areas and equipment to assisting with catering and event setups. This is a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring office environment is well-maintained, clean, and efficient
• Assisting with the setup, execution, and cleanup of catered events
• Maintaining coffee areas, dishwashers, and afternoon snack setups
• Handling front desk responsibilities and other administrative tasks as needed
• Interacting with building management, vendors, internal and external clients
• Collaborating with the Location Services Manager or Supervisor to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Overseeing office supplies and equipment, including furniture, phones, and security cards
• Participating in internal and client-facing activities that enhance the work experience
• Providing hands-on support for small scale office activities
• Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing with diverse audiences.• Exceptional skills in Customer Service
• Proficiency in About Time software
• Knowledge of Security protocols
• Experience in dealing with Vendors
• Strong Time Management skills
• Ability to Execute tasks efficiently
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
• Excellent Proofreading skills
• Ability to Scale Out operations
• Must be Punctual and reliable
• Familiarity with the provision of Snacks in an office environment
• Experience with Mindset Software
• Capability to Tear down and set up event spaces
• Dishwashing skills for office kitchen maintenance
• Experience in QA Management
• Ability to provide Support services to all staff and visitors.
