This full-time role involves fueling, stocking, cleaning aircraft, cars, and hangars in various weather conditions. You will work closely with the maintenance crew, flight crew, and passengers, providing essential support in a dynamic and fun environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and detail aircraft daily.
- Stock aircraft with necessary supplies (refreshments, snacks).
- Fuel jets and transit aircraft; maintain fuel truck levels.
- Test all fuel ordered and received for anti-icing additive.
- Service ground support equipment, cleaning tools, and other machinery.
- Move and stage company aircraft.
- Perform monthly assessments of hangars and equipment; order supplies to maintain inventory.
- Maintain log sheets for every aircraft fueled.
- Clean, fuel, and perform routine maintenance on rental and company vehicles.
- Use a scrubbing machine to clean hangar floors.
- Complete mandatory annual training.
- Utilize required protective clothing and gear, such as eye protection, ear protection, and gloves.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Work Experience
Qualifications:
- Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.; the position requires lifting, pushing, pulling, stretching, kneeling, and bending daily in various weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule that may change day-to-day.
- 3 months of experience in cleaning and/or general equipment maintenance/upkeep.
- Ability to follow defined procedures and practices with minimal deviation
