Position Responsibilities:
- 50% of the time - Director is networking/ Visiting fire departments in the territory
o Market budget for entertaining is provided.
- Coffee, donuts, lunch etc.
- Golf, ball games, dinner etc.
- 25% of the time -- Charity and educational work in community and victims' assistance.
o 2 charitable events min per year (golf, Chili cookoff, Cornhole etc.)
- All proceeds go to fire fighter and police charities.
- Raised over 9 million for local charities since 2008
o Working with Firefighters Cancer Support Network
o Victims' assistance programs.
- 25% of the time -- on-scene response.
o Working with Fire Department with R & R.
- Supplying drinks and meals if needed to firefighters
o Providing victims assistance once fire is contained.
- Secure valuables if safe able.
- Hotel and meal vouchers if needed
- Working with Local Service Partner for Dwelling Board Up
