ComResource is looking for a Backend Services Developer.

We are seeking an experienced Backend Services Developer to join our team. This role involves leading a squad of developers, driving technical roadmaps, and delivering robust, scalable, and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in API development, Spring Boot, AWS, and microservices architecture, with a strong ability to mentor and guide technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 4+ developers, fostering collaboration and growth.
• Collaborate with Product and Agile teams to define and implement technical roadmaps.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect and implement microservices and event-driven systems.
• Conduct full lifecycle application development, including coding, debugging, and testing.
• Perform software analysis, including code metrics, risk assessments, and reliability analysis.
• Optimize performance, usability, and automation of backend services.
• Integrate new applications with existing systems and maintain high standards of code quality.
• Provide production support, including on-call responsibilities when required.

Essentials:

• 15+ years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in API development and application development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and deploying highly scalable solutions in AWS.
• Proficiency with Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and domain-driven design (DDD).
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD).
• Experience in software testing, performance tuning, and automation.

Desired:

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Additional experience in related backend technologies or cloud platforms.
