Job Description
Henderson Health Care Services is a full-service Critical Care Hospital, Long Term Care, and Family Clinic in Henderson & Sutton, NE. We are professional, fast-paced, collaborative and our goal is to provide the greatest healthcare option to Henderson, Sutton and surrounding area patients while maintaining a family-based culture.

Responsible to portion foods onto the resident’s plate, making it as attractive as possible. Responsible to serve plates to residents with a positive attitude. Also responsible to clear the dirty dishes from the residents’ dining room tables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Willing to perform repetitive tasks.
- Must exercise initiative in keeping the area clean.
- Able to work with others and to learn to operate equipment.
- Must understand how to operate equipment.
- Some knowledge of food preparation is preferred.
- Must be able to learn and understand therapeutic diets.
- Serves correct diet ordered for each resident according to approved menu plan.
- Keeps personal clothing and hands clean, observing proper handwashing technique.
- Attends dietary meetings in order to preserve continuity and efficiency.
- Keeps kitchen and dining room areas clean and tidy, free of debris and odor.
- Sets up buffet for residents as scheduled.
- Serves plates for residents as scheduled.
- Cleans off soiled dishes and sanitizes tables.
- Replenishes supplies as needed.
- Mops and washes floors, cleans refrigerator and cupboards, and all daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties.
- Performs other assigned related duties.
- Abides by employee immunization/vaccination policies.

Education and/or ExperienceMust be at least 16 years of age. Training and experience in a dietary setting is desirable. On-the-job training will be provided.
