Marketing Director
The Marketing Director is responsible for maintaining, improving, and executing marketing strategies. This position will help drive property performance and support the Regional Leadership and community site teams. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the below job specifications. Additional responsibilities or functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by Asset Living.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Reviews marketing metrics every quarter (SEO, SEM, website performance, geo-targeting, ILS performance, etc.) with Regional Leadership, providing suggestions on how to maximize marketing spend, generate quality leads, and improve lead-to-lease ratios.
- Development and implementation of marketing plans.
- Provide additional marketing support and analytics as needed or requested.
- Works with the training team to develop marketing-based training programs
- Oversees community's monthly ILS/Digital audits and aids if any correction is needed.
- Assist in the development of community marketing budgets and ensure operation within
- Direct oversight of 3rd party marketing vendors
- Complete marketing help desk tickets
- Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs
- Responsible for social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, Google +, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Manages Social Media Ambassador program
- Create monthly social media calendars for onsite team members as well as partner with them to ensure the success of their social media presence.
- Ensures brand consistency in all marketing materials
- Completes all required marketing-related tasks during the acquisition and disposition of communities
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Education/Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing role
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of onsite property management, from leasing to service to management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle pressure due to complexity and time sensitivity.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Yardi software proficiency, as well as other web-based products currently used or to be used in the future.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
