CVOR Surgical First Assistant Travel Position in Atlanta, GA

Soliant Health is looking for an experienced CVOR Surgical First Assistant to join our team for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Position Details:

• Location: Atlanta, GA (ZIP Code: 30303)

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks (with the option to extend)

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons in cardiovascular surgeries, including heart and vascular procedures.
• Perform surgical duties, such as wound closure, handling tissues, and assisting with surgical instruments.
• Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outes.
• Assist with pre- and post-operative patient care as needed.

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Surgical First Assistant (CFA) or RNFA.
• Valid state license in Georgia.
• 2+ years of experience in a CVOR setting preferred.
• BLS, ACLS certifications.
• Strong munication skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Must be a team player and mitted to patient safety and care.
