HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Act as the primary client contact, managing project planning, scoping, scheduling, and funding coordination.
  • Perform engineering calculations and analysis for aviation and civil designs in compliance with FAA and GDOT specifications.
  • Guide project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within budget and on schedule.
  • Provide oversight, mentoring, and technical guidance to younger engineers in design and construction phases.
  • Develop design documents, exhibits, and report appendices using MicroStation, Open-Road, and AutoCAD Civil 3D platforms.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control and assurance processes to uphold company standards.
  • Collaborate with GDOT, FAA, and other stakeholders to align project goals and secure funding.

ARE YOU AN AVIATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT ROCK STAR?

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Georgia (required).
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in aviation or civil engineering.
  • Familiarity with FAA and GDOT aviation-related projects.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation production tools (preferred) and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated capability in preparing records, reports, and project documentation.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel occasionally to outdoor project sites in various weather conditions.
