As part of the Richard Sandoval Hospitality Management, we are dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience. We are currently seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Aqimero, contributing to our commitment to excellence and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all activities concerning BOH, F&B operations, and personnel for Aqimero.
**Responsibilities**
Staff Management:
- Interview, hire, evaluate, reward, and discipline FOH personnel.
- Orientate, motivate, train, and educate all FOH personnel in restaurant policies, procedures, and rules.
- Ensure proper coverage based on business volumes for each area of the restaurant during your shifts.
Service Excellence:
- Effectively supervise floor staff to ensure professional service and maximize guest satisfaction during operating hours.
- Educate FOH personnel in product awareness and cultivate long-term service knowledge.
- Hold line level employees accountable to the systems and standards of the company.
- Build rapport with Restaurant guests, ensuring an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Operational Duties:
- Ensure all Restaurant signage is accurate and aligns with the theme.
- Accurately report payroll and handle the end-of-night closeout and cash drop.
- Maintain the MICROS database with accurate items and prices.
- Assist in maintaining employee files.
- Perform daily tasks as indicated on opening and closing checklists.
Facility and Maintenance:
- Take ultimate responsibility for the cleanliness and repair of the restaurant and office.
Meetings and Collaboration:
- Attend and contribute to weekly manager meetings and cost calls when required.
- Foster open lines of communication between FOH and BOH staff.
- Establish a role as a spokesperson for the Restaurant within the community and with Restaurant’s guests.
Entrepreneurial Mindset:
- Bring your own personal style and energy to the brand-supplied talking points and program.
- Conduct consumer-facing activities.
- Generate brand awareness and positive product impressions to increase sales.
- Maintain extensive product knowledge.
- Create weekly and monthly features to promote the restaurant.
**Qualifications:**
-Must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
-Previous F&B experience is required, with at least 2 years of Assistant Manager experience or above.
- Work well under pressure and be self-motivated.
- Good organizational, time management, and sales skills.
- Good communication skills—both written and verbal.
