Project Data Engineers at Lutron participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality consumer products and services for commercial and residential use.
You will contribute to the development and production of consumer products that will be directly received by our end users. You will encounter a variety of technologies throughout the product lifecycle such as:
- Smart IoT Systems
- Distributed Cloud Services
- Data Science and Machine Learning Algorithms
- Analyze data to innovate our products, improve customer experience or marketing techniques
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of data sources and data gathering techniques
- Work cross-functionally to process, clean, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
- Identify opportunities for strategically leveraging data to drive business solutions
- Build the next generation enterprise data ecosystem
- Constructing ETL pipelines for Information Retrieval, Data Management and Persistence
- Realtime processing with structured and semi-structured data utilizing Python libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, and PySpark
- Utilizing AWS services such as S3, Glue, ECS, Lambda, Sagemaker, Redshift, and Athena to build a scalable and secure data platform
- Ensuring high quality data and robust infrastructure through analytic dashboards and realtime monitoring
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
- 0-3 years experience in a related field
