Schedule: Rotating shifts, including:

• 2:30 PM 11:00 PM
• 12:30 PM 9:00 PM
  Includes weekends, holidays, and potential coverage at other hospital sites.
  Start Date: ASAP
  Duration: 13 weeks

Position Overview
As a valued member of the healthcare team, you will ensure safe medication dispensing, provide critical drug information, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for appropriateness in drug, dosage, frequency, and administration route.
• Analyze patient records for allergies, drug interactions, lab results, and clinical conflicts before dispensing.
• Dispense medications accurately while overseeing pharmacy students and technicians.
• Provide clinical drug information to healthcare providers as needed.
• Maintain inventory control and ensure pliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support discharge planning and continuity of care.

Ideal Candidate

• Education:
  • Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution (Required).
  • Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) (Preferred).
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year in a hospital setting or relevant Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) (Required).
• License/Certifications:
  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License (Required).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Preferred).
