Job Description
Cozy Caregivers, LLC is looking for an office assistant to be responsible for handling clerical tasks in our office. You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office clerk duties and errands on a as needed basis.
The selection process for candidates will require that all applicants have the ability to write clearly and be proficient with word processing applications and a pleasing personality with strong communication skills is also highly valued.
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
• Handling incoming calls and other communications.
• Managing filing system.
• Recording information as needed.
• Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
• Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing.
• Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
• Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
• Effectively communicate with Managed Care Organizations (MCO’s) service coordination
team.
• Confirm and verify participant eligibility via Navinet Database and oversee participant
authorizations for continued services.
• Coordinating and scheduling participants visits in the Axis Care/ HHA Exchange Database.
• Modifying caregiver’s schedules as requested to accommodate participants.
• Complete Enterprise Incident Management Reports as needed (EIM).
• Maintaining supply inventory and office equipment as needed.
• Completing criminal background checks for all employees.
• Aiding with client reception as needed.
• Contacts newly admitted patients and introduces them to the company.
• Builds and maintains positive relationship with patients and referral sources
• Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
• Participates in on-call and virtual training.
Office Assistant Requirements:
• High school diploma or associate’s degree.
• Experience as an office assistant or in a related field.
• Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
• Warm personality and demonstrates excellent verbal and written strong
communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work well under limited supervision.
• Great communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
