Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Provide administrative support to the Assistant Dean for Business and Administrative Management. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to include clerical, phone, mail, and reception; manage campus travel expenditures, facilities rentals and related accounts receivable; creating Purchase Orders and process deposits from athletics ticket sales; reviewing and processing monthly Purchasing Card statements; and accounts payable. Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate effectiveness of office procedures. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn other software programs. Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks, and good verbal/written communications skills is a must.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment, or high school diploma and 6 years work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or equivalency.
