Atlantic Jet Partners, an established aerospace services company located in Pompano Beach, Florida, is seeking to hire a full-time Accounting/Office Assistant to supplement our accounting and bookkeeping staff.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing for multiple companies
  • Post and reconcile a high volume of credit card activity
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Assist with collections as necessary
  • Post journal entries to various ledger accounts including inter-company entries
  • Other general office duties as required.

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have several years of corporate office experience including basic bookkeeping. Must be highly organized and reliable and be able to multi-task in a dynamic corporate environment. Candidate must be detail oriented with accurate data entry skills. The position may also require some customer facing with high-net-worth individuals, so excellent customer service skills are highly desirable. Good communications and writing skills are desirable as well. Employee is expected to be in-office 40 hours per week. This is not a remote position.

Education:

Minimum high school graduation with some formal or on the job training in basic bookkeeping. Associates’ degree or Certificate in Accounting is desirable but will consider all candidates with appropriate level of work experience and demonstrated competence.

Computer:

  • QuickBooks experience is mandatory
  • Basic competence with all Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong data entry skills
