Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Contract Office Manager role within the insurance industry. The position is located in Chicago, Illinois, and will be conducted entirely on-site. As an Office Manager, you will be expected to undertake various tasks, from processing new staff onboarding to coordinating office supplies and inventory.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate new staff onboarding, including setting up technology and office space.
• Support the central regional executive with administrative tasks as needed.
• Manage the inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
• Facilitate cross-training with the current Office Manager in different markets, virtually.
• Collaborate closely with the underwriting and sales and development leader based in Chicago.
• Maintain a friendly and flexible demeanor to successfully wear many hats within the organization.
• Assist in supporting HR tasks and the central regional executive.
• Utilize various software systems including Workday and Concur for accounting functions.
• Handle customer inquiries, processing credit applications, and maintaining accurate customer credit records.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when needed.
• 3-5 + years of Office Management Experience
• Comfortable with answering inbound calls in a detail oriented manner.
• Proficiency in using Workday and the MS Office Suite for various human resources functions.
• Experience in employee Onboarding and orientation.
• Responsible for managing Supply Inventory, ensuring stocks are always sufficient.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is required.
• Ability to handle Accounting Functions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
