Job Summary
The Assistant Front Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and overall guest experience at our hotel. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for the hospitality industry. The Assistant Front Office Manager will assist in overseeing front desk operations, managing staff, and ensuring that guests receive the highest level of service.


Duties

  • Supervise daily front office operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and guest services.
  • Train, mentor, and manage front desk staff to ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to hotel policies.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and billing information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences and facilitate smooth operations.
  • Monitor phone systems to ensure efficient communication within the hotel.
  • Assist in developing and implementing front office procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the front office area.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management software is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing tasks effectively.
  • Previous experience in a resort setting is desirable but not mandatory.
