A Japanese restaurant is seeking a Restaurant Manager!  

Job description
An Izakaya restaurant concept serving healthy seafood including oysters, sushi & sashimi, is seeking a restaurant manager.
Their mission is simple: to positively impact New Yorkers by making it easy to eat healthy and affordable food.
They are looking for a team that will consist of passionate and dedicated individuals.

Key Areas of Experience & Skills Required:
- Serving or Bartending Experience. Japanese cuisine knowledge is a plus.
- Any Front of House Restaurant or Catering Experience is a Plus!
- Any Back of House Kitchen or Operations Experience is a Plus!
- Flexible Schedule, Weekends & Holidays a must.
- Organized, Detailed, Precise, Punctual & Reliable are Paramount.
- Great Customer Service, Great Communication & Even Temper are a must.
- Positive Attitude, Team Player & Presentable.
- Bilingual (English/Japanese ) Applicants are a Plus!
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer inquiries.
Utilize POS systems to accurately process payments and orders.
Ensure food safety standards are met by handling and serving food properly.
Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance the dining experience.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold sanitation standards.
