If so, then Tri-Star is looking for you! We are looking to add an experienced Business Contact to our team. Our team is located in the Dallas hub in Hutchins, TX. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations for 9-10 dispatches each weekday, 5 on Saturdays and 4 on Sundays. You must be able to work a flexible schedule that starts early and stays late, works weekends and some holidays to be sure every package is picked up or delivered.

Salary pay - $65,000-$70,000 annually, based on experience. Please be able to provide 1-2 references upon request.

Must Haves -

Understanding the time/hours/schedule of a 7 day a week operation.

Experience in improving safety compliance with drivers, confirming scan integrity, ensuring all picks up and deliveries are completed (P&D).

Minimum two years of Business Contact (BC) experience.

Be a strong leader and make sure drivers are valued, heard, and know they are important.

Excellent with time management, communication, and problem solving.

Able to build a positive relationship with drivers, other BC, AO and FedEx management.

Valid driver's license, with no moving violations in past 3 years, pass a background test, pass a drug test, commercial driving experience, be over 21 years of age, FedEx badge.

Certified to operate P1000, P1100, P1200, 26ft box truck.


Responsibilities - include but not limited to the following -

Work positively with outside mechanics to be sure all routine maintenance, oil changes, fluid checks, and tire checks are completed in a timely manner to keep all the vans on the road.

Make sure every route is covered every day.

Manage driver schedule and attendance.

Be able to run routes, when needed. Be able to run overflow, when needed. Be able to rescue drivers, when needed.

Hold weekly safety/information meetings.

Take all driver calls. Be sure drivers are in FedEx required uniforms.

Handle all terminal paperwork, hand sheets, misdelivered packages, picture proof, and proximity reports in a timely manner.

Attend all FedEx meetings.

Strong understanding of FedEx codes.

Manage daily service in FCC and DWS and show continuous improvement.

Train new drivers on safety, customer service, the vehicles, codes, routes, compliance, deliveries, and set expectations.

Arrive at 7am to work with FedEx package handlers to ensure all vans are loaded correctly.

Be a proactive problem solver.

Able to assist in recruitment.

Handle DRO.
