As a Dock Worker for H-E-B Transportation, you'll load and unload trailers, safely and thoroughly. You'll operate MHE and promote a safe, clean work environment.

What is the work?
Transportation Operations:
- Plans and facilitates daily loading and unloading of H-E-B trailers of specific reusables (e.g., pallets, plastic trays and crates, boxes, wrap, ties, assorted returns)
- Loads and unloads trailers in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with SOPs; unloads completely
- Maintains clean trailers; operates wash equipment; washes trailers as needed
- Operates material handling equipment
- Promotes a safe and clean work environment
- Maintains a sense of urgency; always prompt and punctual
- Escalates issues outside parameters to appropriate parties

What is your background?
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 0+ years of experience

Do you have what it takes to be a fit as a Dock Worker for H-E-B Transportation?
- Knowledge of warehouse process for sanitation, including cleaning agents, supplies, and related tools
- Working knowledge of related local, state, and federal regulations (preferred)
- Math skills (+, -, *, /)
- Reading and writing skills
- Organization skills
- Bi-lingual (English - Spanish) skills a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to operate machines and equipment in a safe, independent manner
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification in pallet jack and forklift operation
- Ability to operate H-E-B in-house systems (e.g., TINA)
- Attention to detail

Can you...
- Constantly* stand, walk, and squat
- Frequently lift and carry 7 lbs for duration of a 10 to 12-hour shift
- Occasionally lift up to 57 lbs
