Dock Lead Opportunity at a Stage Lighting Company in South Las Vegas

Are you an experienced professional with a background in stage lighting, audio-visual (AV) systems, and dock management? Join our dynamic team in South Las Vegas and play a critical role in managing our dock operations and lighting equipment for live events.

Key Responsibilities:

Inbound Dock Management

• Oversee the scheduling and receipt of incoming shipments.
• Ensure proper unloading, inspection, and documentation of goods.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for accurate storage allocation.
• Maintain up-to-date records of inventory and shipments.

Outbound Dock Management

• Manage the scheduling and preparation of outgoing shipments.
• Supervise packing, labeling, and documentation for accurate dispatch.
• Collaborate with transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Optimize loading procedures to improve efficiency.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and train dock personnel while conducting performance evaluations.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and productivity.
• Address and resolve personnel-related concerns promptly.

Operational Efficiency

• Implement and monitor best practices for dock operations.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and improve processes.
• Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
• Conduct safety audits and provide staff training.
• Implement corrective actions to address safety concerns.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams to coordinate operations.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and transportation partners.
• Provide management with performance and operational reports.

Qualifications:

• Must have experience with stage lighting, AV systems, and dock management.
• At least 5 years of experience in dock or warehouse management, with inbound/outbound expertise.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with logistics software and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and lighting equipment.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus but not required.
