Staff Source is hiring: Dock Lead in Sterling Heights

Staff Source has a temp to hire opening for a dock lead for a automotive supplier located in Sterling Heights.

Shift is from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday $23.00 to $25.00 an hour--Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug test, background check and physical.

Must have 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the loading and unloading of merchandise to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and the safe use of machinery and chemical cleaning agents
• Maintain inventory levels and the functionality of warehouse space
• Train workers in equipment operation and safety procedures
• Communicate problems or concerns to supervisors and other lead personnel
• Maintain workflow records and documents as necessary.
• Experience with PLEX software preferred
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment as needed
