Main purpose of the Production Manager role:

The Production Manager is a highly collaborative role that requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to work cross-functionally with Product Development, Design, and Buying, amongst other departments. The Production Manager will be responsible for daily functions such as communicating with overseas vendors to create and follow up on production orders, managing production schedules across multiple vendors, for various product categories. As well as assist in areas such as cost, compliance, and logistics as needed. The Production Manager should possess high attention to detail and the ability to multitask/prioritize workload and thrive in a fast paced environment.


The Details:

  • Manage the production process end to end. Coordinate with the buying team to prioritize forecast and coordinate seasonal procurement cycles.
  • Monitor production schedule and delivery dates across vendors/categories.
  • Own communication on Reorders and Reactionary programs from sourcing to sales and estimated lead time for apparel products, considering material availability, costing and production timelines.
  • Work closely with logistics ensuring on time deliveries, help with prioritization and shipping methods as well as cost updates and changes.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects/deadlines - Knowledge of time and action calendars.
  • Review and analyze reports concerning shipment inflow, stock status, etc.
  • Collaborate with sourcing on factory allocation, design execution, vendor matrix, ensuring optimal cost, quality and delivery efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Assist in various departmental tasks and projects.


Required competencies:

  • Able to work under pressure maintaining attention to detail and accurate work in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • A strong written and verbal ability to establish trustworthy and durable relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to deadlines and reporting.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in production/product management, sourcing or supply chain role.
  • BFA or BA in Fashion, Business, or related field.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent computer skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and Windows.
  • Experience in PLM.
  • Expertise about critical path, costing, manufacturing, and calendar management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $75K-90k.
