Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Production Supervisor on 2nd Shift for our flow creation and industrial products client to start immediately at $80k-$100k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

We're seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead our evening shift production teams. Your primary focus will be orchestrating daily operations to achieve superior quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. This role involves comprehensive management of employee performance, positive associate relations, and team development. Stand out as a top candidate by demonstrating your unique skill set and experience. Preferred qualifications include Six Sigma / lean manufacturing expertise, with a proven record in enhancing efficiency and quality. Essential to this role is hands-on proficiency in CNC operations, including machine operation, design, programming, or maintenance. You should possess a thorough understanding of blueprints and drawings, crucial for manufacturing precision. Additionally, your comprehensive grasp of technology will be vital in implementing innovative solutions to drive business success. This position offers an opportunity to boost employee engagement and elevate overall performance.

  • Maintain a safe work environment through regular safety compliance inspections, accident investigations, and targeted training programs.
  • Develop and implement engagement strategies to cultivate a high-performing team, collaborating on recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts.
  • Oversee production activities to meet key objectives in safety, quality, cost, inventory management, delivery, downtime reduction, and employee engagement.
  • Manage production schedules, prioritize tasks, and coordinate expedited orders to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor production quality and equipment performance, implementing quality control measures and addressing downtime issues promptly.
  • Optimize material utilization and workflow, applying lean solutions to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Foster a positive, respectful work environment, consistently adhering to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Lead team communications regarding production concerns, activities, and events impacting the plant and business.
  • Champion continuous improvement through lean methodologies and stakeholder involvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Location: Alsip, IL

Schedule/Shift Details: 2nd shift position- 4pm-12:30am

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including CNC production machining
  • Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence experience preferred
  • Proficiency in lean tools such as Takt Time, standard work, value stream mapping, %Load, 5S, Kanban, and practical problem solving
  • Pump manufacturing experience is highly advantageous
  • Experience in a unionized setting is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record in team development and employee engagement
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Demonstrated success in meeting deadlines and project goals
