Balance Staffing is now Hiring a Production Lead for a Food Manufacturing Warehouse in Tracy, CA.

Monday- Friday and some Saturdays
Shift: 5:30 am - 2:30 pm
Pay: $24-25/hr

Duties and Responsibilities
 

• Remove raw materials from packaging to gondolas and complies with USDA standards for handling materials.
• Fill / label / seal / palletize cartons of finished product.
• Uses TI station to label product appropriately and to complete any necessary inventory transactions and adjustments.
• Label gondolas with the corresponding job number in which the raw materials have been allocated.
• Feed the production line with raw product as needed.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems
• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications
• Enforces Good Manufacturing Practices and safety regulations
• Follows all safety guidelines; Reports any work-related injuries to HR as soon as possible (no later than 24 hours)
• Monitors production floor for any safety hazards and reports issues to Production Supervisor and/or HR
• Answers radio requests; Responds to questions and solves problems
• Informs Production Supervisor of whereabouts, attendance, and activities; Proactively identifies problems and potential problems, and offers possible solutions
• Required to fill various rolls on production floor including, but not limited to, Operator, Wrangler, Stager, or any other line job as required
• Shows respect and sensitivity toward cultural differences; Promotes a harassment and discrimination free environment

• Microwave Team members are required to spend 100% of time on floor at assigned line(s)
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, move from one station to another, operate a pallet jack
• The employee is regularly required to talk and hear
• The employee is regularly required to use repetitive motion and reach overhead
• The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle and feel
• The employee is regularly required to walk on wet, even and uneven surfaces, reach with hands and arms, lift and relocate up to 25 lbs.
• The employee is occasionally required to push, pull, balance, stoop, climb, kneel, and bend.
• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus

Pref Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years’ experience with Meat Processing
• USDA Trained
• Bilingual in Spanish/English

REQUIRED

• 1-year experience in a Food Processing environment
• Advanced knowledge of GMP’s; HACCP Certified
