Production Operator

M-F 5:45am - 2:15pm

Description:

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Production work on a days shift schedule Monday-Friday from 6 am to 2 pm (contractor should arrive at 5:45am to get dressed and attend morning meeting)

•Work with and assisting site operators with liquid jug/tote/drum packaging in a chemical manufacturing environment
o Limited responsibility to package solid bags and drums

•Warehouse management
o Organizing, inventory counts, staging and prepping materials for use in formulations
o Washout of tanks
o Handling trash

• Housekeeping
o Organizing and cleaning
o Product sampling

• Expected to be able to follow operating procedures and instructions

List all Equipment/Machinery used in position:
• In some areas may be required to wear half face respirator or alternative air supply
o Required to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) in applicable areas
o Forklift operations

REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES
Requirements (Education, Experience, Physical Demands,):
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Showers required after each shift
* Piercings will need to be covered or taken out.
