Main Responsibilities: 

  • The Production Intern will work with the Process Engineer and Production team to Create/ Update/ Upload Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Conformity of Productions (COPS) into the SharePoint system. 

  • Will work with Process Engineer to implement/execute new & current projects. 

  • Will Learn standard concepts that support the manufacturing process. 

  • Position will work with the Production Team & Manufacturing Manager to implement lean initiatives. 

  • Position will update manufacturing record retention storage. 

  • Will serve as a team member to assist in safety action plans/audits. 

  • Position will collect data used to define changes in manufacturing processes/equipment, improvement opportunities-root cause analysis, waste elimination etc. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Computer skills must include MS Office; PowerPoint specifically. 

  • Demonstrated ability to perform on task and follow up on assignments. 

  • Safe work practices, proper ethics, and attention to detail. 

  • Leadership-ability to identify an opportunity for improvement. 

Education and Experience: 

  • College student majoring in Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
