Job Overview

The Director of Production at SUNVEK Roofing is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire production process, ensuring that roofing projects are delivered on time, safely, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strategic planning, coordination, and leadership to drive efficiency and effectiveness across all production operations. The Director of Production will work closely with cross-functional teams, including scheduling, procurement, sales, and field crews, to ensure a streamlined operation that meets company objectives and exceeds customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict quality standards. Strategic planning, team leadership, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments are critical to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Management - Oversee production teams, ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget. Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and high performance across all teams.
• Safety Compliance - Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and ADOSH regulations and implement proactive safety measures. Continuously review and update safety policies and training programs to meet or exceed industry safety standards.
• Quality Assurance - Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Oversee inspections and quality control processes to maintain SUNVEK’s reputation for excellence.
• Process Improvement - Evaluate and enhance production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Implement new technologies and best practices to stay competitive in the roofing industry.
• Project Management - Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, resource plans, and budgets. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that may impact timelines or budgets.
• Customer Satisfaction - Act as a liaison between clients and production teams, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Vendor & Supplier Relations - Work closely with suppliers and vendors to secure materials at the best possible prices without sacrificing quality.
• Training & Development - Lead ongoing training programs for production staff to maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and compliance with new roofing techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within the roofing or construction industry.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and a track record of implementing safety programs.
• Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and industry best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Prior military service in a construction or engineering related MOS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with Arizona’s local building codes and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
