Department: Production Job Status: Full Time

FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Operations Manager

Positions Supervised: Production Forklift Drivers, Production Line Leads, Production Operators, Production Assistant & Custodial employees.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to supervision of the production line operations and personnel, operating assigned machine(s) and Area Maintenance/Housekeeping.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

This is a comprehensive list, but not limited to:
  • Supervision of the Production Line Operations and Personnel.
  • Planning and organizing production schedules.
  • Setting up and operate machines according to the Production Work Order Requirements, On-the-Job-Training (OJT) and/or machine operation procedures.
  • Follow, monitor, and enforce all Safety and Environmental policies.
  • Ensure all finished product samples are submitted to the lab for approval while following Lab instructions.
  • Continuously looking to improve the workforce through training, hiring of new personal or meetings with employees.
  • Assist with training new Production personnel.
  • Responsible for Production personnel evaluations.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Remain in compliance with facility ISO & IATF standards.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Communicate effectively in written and oral form using positive interpersonal skills.
  • Multi-task various work assignments in a time efficient manner.
  • Basic computer software skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
  • Daily problem solving on production issues.
  • Ability to present data to management in production meetings.
  • Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Willingness to work mandatory overtime.
  • Employees are expected to work productively and safely.
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift 4:00pm- 3:00am Monday- Friday


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 3+ year's supervisor experience in manufacturing, preferred in oil industry and/or packaging

Schedule: 3:00pm - 3:00am and a occasional Saturday

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Competitive Base Salary + Bonus Potential + $600 Sign on Bonus
