We are seeking Maintenance Technicians for our 1st and 2nd shifts for our plant in Kansas City, MO!
Shift Schedules:
- 1st: 7am-3pm
- 2nd: 3pm-11pm
As a Maintenance Technician, you will help maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic manufacturing and packaging machinery and equipment. Experience with conveyors, frequency inverters, blow molding, injection molding, and extrusion is helpful.
Requirements:
- Greasing and cleaning machines.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills
- Assist in install of new equipment.
- Work closely with other team members, including machine operators and engineers, to identify and resolve problems.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with the machinery, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Capable of troubleshooting and repairing various machinery, equipment, and facility structures to support the operations of the facility and the production process.
- Troubleshooting includes large hydraulic pumps and valves powered by motors. Electrical ranges from 115V-480V and air compressors and valves to support molding machines. Hydraulic machine controls, troubleshooting hydraulic systems, and print familiarity keys to success.
- Perform process troubleshooting to assist the production department with processing of quality parts in an injection molding/blow molding. Understand machine controls, HMI interface, and molding processes.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment according to prescribed schedules and procedures.
- Work on various equipment such as electric drive motors, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic systems, VFD controls, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, and all safety related aspects to create a safe work environment.
- Provide technical support in and on injection molding/blow molding machines, auxiliary components, chiller functions, water systems, nitrogen systems, and safety controls to support production.
- Read and utilize complex hydraulic drawings to design and or troubleshoot machine failures.
- Familiarity with the function Aoki, Bejum, Uniloy, Sidel, One Blow, Sipa, Husky, Flex Blow, Rocheleau, MBK, and PBM machinery is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics, electrical schematics and troubleshoot equipment performance.
- Able to work in a team setting, self-motivated, productive without direct supervision.
