Production Manager
A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee production operations and drive continuous improvement. This role involves managing production schedules, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of products. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily production activities to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products.
Develop and maintain production schedules, adjusting as necessary to address delays or changing priorities.
Optimize labor, equipment, and material use to achieve performance and production goals.
Partner with Safety and Quality teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and resolve quality issues promptly.
Collaborate with Engineering to integrate process improvements and facilitate new product launches.
Monitor production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
Prepare and present reports on production performance, safety compliance, and resource utilization.
Lead and mentor the production team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
Requirements :
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience with expertise in lean manufacturing and production cost reduction
- Strong knowledge of energetic materials production, manufacturing processes, and AS9100 quality standards.
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with excellent communication and team-building abilities.
- Experience with electro-mechanical and pneumatic equipment; Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (IQMS preferred), MS Office, and process improvement techniques.
