Job Title: Production Scheduler
Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. This position is ideal for an individual eager to grow their expertise in production scheduling, capacity planning, and supply chain optimization. The role involves creating and maintaining production schedules, analyzing capacity requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize the Production Schedule to align with production goals and customer demands.
  • Assist in creating and analyzing manufacturing capacity plans to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to address capacity constraints and changing priorities.
  • Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, and Planning teams to ensure alignment of schedules with operational goals.
  • Generate and maintain reports on key production planning metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and accuracy in production planning.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and a basic understanding of data analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and production planning principles.
  • Basic experience with Power BI or a demonstrated willingness to learn.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills:
  • Microsoft Excel: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency.
  • ERP Systems: Experience with or willingness to learn commonly used ERP systems.
  • Power BI/Power Query: Basic knowledge or willingness to develop proficiency.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint: Ability to create clear and professional presentations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge of production scheduling software or tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
