**Job Title: Production Supervisor**
**Job Summary:**
The Manufacturing Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor to ensure that manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and within budget. This role involves managing a team of production workers, monitoring production schedules, ensuring quality control, and implementing process improvements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to meet production targets and deadlines.
+ Monitor production processes, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
+ Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote skill development and ensure effective performance.
+ Collaborate with management to develop and implement production schedules and workflow plans.
+ Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production lines to identify and resolve issues promptly.
+ Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
+ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
+ Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance.
+ Facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth operations and address any production challenges.
+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
+ Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
+ Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
**Working Conditions:**
+ May require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
+ Exposure to typical manufacturing environment conditions, including noise, temperature variations, and machinery.
