The Production Control Clerk is a key contributor to the operational excellence at Tangent, ensuring that the advanced manufacturing processes for HDPE plastic lumber are supported by precise data management and reporting. This role is critical in maintaining the flow of production information, which is essential for sustaining our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and client ROI.

Role and Responsibilities
•Data Management: Accurately compile and record daily production data, ensuring that all information aligns with the advanced manufacturing processes and technologies used in the production of HDPE plastic lumber.

•Inventory Oversight: Review and verify inventory quantities to ensure that the supply chain is in sync with production demands and sustainability commitments.

•Cost Monitoring: Monitor job/manufacturing order costs, reporting discrepancies that could impact operational efficiency and client ROI.

•ERP Management: Close job/work orders in the ERP system, ensuring that data integrity supports the use of CNC and robotics in our manufacturing.

•Production Support: Assist the Production Manager in overseeing the lifecycle of manufacturing orders, aligning with Tangent's patented technologies and production methodologies.

•Meeting Participation: Contribute to production meetings with data-driven insights, facilitating informed decision-making that upholds our market leadership in eco-friendly building solutions.

•Safety: Uphold the highest safety standards, recognizing this value's importance in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

•Training: Engage in ongoing learning to stay abreast of Tangent's evolving production technologies and processes.

•Quality Assurance: Ensure that all data reflects the quality and precision of our HDPE products, contributing to the company's reputation for high standards.

•Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as required, adaptable to the dynamic needs of a leading-edge manufacturing facility.

Requirements

•Communication: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, crucial for clearly and effectively disseminating production data.

•Analytical Thinking: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate and interpret complex production data.

•ERP Proficiency: Show adeptness with ERP systems, a vital tool in managing our sophisticated manufacturing operations.

•Technical Software Use: Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, essential for the various reporting and data analysis tasks.

Education and experience
Education: A High School diploma or GED is required.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a high-tech or plastics industry setting.

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US.

Mental/Physical Requirements

Concentration: Capable of maintaining focus on tasks for prolonged periods while working with advanced manufacturing systems.

Physical Stamina: Able to lift up to 25 pounds and manage the physical demands of a manufacturing
