Boundless Life Sciences Group is a full-service advertising agency, built from the ground up to meet the evolving needs of modern healthcare brands. We are looking for a full-time Production Artist. As a Production Artist at Boundless Refinery, you will be an integral part of our creative studio team, responsible for executing the production and design of print materials, and finalization of some digital materials. This role demands strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and effective collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Production:
    • Collaborate closely with the creative team to create print-ready artwork, encompassing brochures, packaging, labels, promotional materials, and product documentation, ensuring precision and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • File Preparation:
    • Prepare print files for output, including prepress tasks like image retouching, color correction, file format conversion, and ensuring proper file specifications for various printing methods.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct comprehensive quality checks on all materials to validate correct fonts, images, colors, and print specifications, to ensure compliance with industry standards and vendor requirements.
  • Collaboration:
    • Offer support to Junior Production Artists to guide and review their work.
    • Collaborate effectively with Senior Production Artists, Graphic Designers, and Account and Project Managers to grasp project requirements and contribute to the creative process.
  • Leadership:
    • Actively contribute to process improvement and workflow optimization.
    • Assist in training and onboarding new team members.
  • Software Proficiency:
    • Utilize industry-standard design and production software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), to create, edit, and enhance graphics and layouts.
  • Version Control:
    • Maintain organized file management systems for tracking revisions and versions of design assets, ensuring seamless collaboration and easy access to project files.
  • Efficiency:
    • Manage time and workload effectively to ensure final files meet business needs and deadlines, factoring in time for revisions and feedback.
    • Adhere to workflows to optimize project timelines and resource utilization.
  • Adaptability:
    • Display flexibility in adapting to evolving project needs and priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design and prepress software.
  • Knowledge of print production processes and industry standards.
  • Confidence in digital production, and interactive pieces, is a plus.
  • Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and precision in data handling and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, work under tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of the importance of handling sensitive information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical and medical device industry regulations (FDA, EMA, etc.) is an advantage.
