summary Now Hiring!!! 3rd Shift Filling Cell Lead in Garland RotatingSchedule Pay 62-70k The Filling Cell Lead is responsible of controlling the Base Conditions programs: CIL, C/L, C/O's, 5S, Basic PM's, Safety, Basic Troubleshooting, Training. Filling Cell Lead Responsible for Filling Cell Operations and the execution of the Base Conditioning programs. These include Capper, Raw Material, BBF, Unscramble and Palletizer in P3. The Filling Cell Lead also cover vacation replacement, break / lunches when needed. Promote continuous improvement, coaching, mentoring in a safe working environment. The Cell Leader is receptive to regular coaching and development by Production Supervisor. Cell Lead consistently demonstrates leadership, operational skills, packing process knowledge, shift planning, effective communication, and overall results accountability. Additional responsibilities include; but, are not limited to adhering to Plant and Department Safety practices, complying to defined Quality procedures, understanding Quality documentation, and required Production documentation. This is a Direct Hire position. Leads and fosters key team dynamics ,i.e. urgency, teamwork, accountability, ownership Communicates clearly and gives direction on shift assignments and tasks Active in Shift Team Meetings and participates in shift overlap meetings Demonstrates positive attitude , effective communication and gives effective direction Willing to accept direction and coaching for continual growth and development from Supervisor and Production Manager Effectively oversees production line activities and resources to achieve targeted hourly and shifts' results in reliability, quality , safety ,and critical DMS Leads and assist in paperwork coordination and confirmation of daily production orders Acquires working knowledge of the operation of all Packing equipment Provides assistance with break and lunch relief to operators as needed Demonstrates awareness and understanding of production schedule, communicates any changes to resource and all plant leadership Reviews Production paperwork for completion and legibility before submitting to QA Reviewer and Analyst Ensures and reinforces that all Production operating areas meet department appearance standards Review daily schedule for product and material availability Assist in Tracking shift results with systems and /or tracking boards Understands Production Line Reliability Targets and keeps track of results Ensures equipment downtime is properly, recorded into production system(s) Works with resources to get information and detail to submit any work requests for defects on line required-skills: Safety Complies with and demonstrates leadership in ensuring all areas maintain safe operations area and with safe behaviors Complies and demonstrates leadership in ensuring all resources comply with required PPE in operating areas Understands, complies with , and demonstrates leadership in safe entry procedures while operating equipment Understands, complies, and demonstrates leadership in Proper Ergonomics procedures i.e. bending and lifting techniques Understands, complies, and demonstrates leadership in Safe operation of manual lift equipment, i.e. pallet jack Properly address any Safety condition or safety behavior outages Quality Complies and demonstrates leadership to ensure all required work instructions and Job aids are being followed Understands and ensures that all Required Production in Process Quality Checks and Production Records are being completed Complies to Plant GMPs Complies to defined Good documentation practices Ensures that materials being loaded and used on the line meet acceptable /Target Quality standards Coordinates and leads rework that occurs during production, to ensure it is properly introduced back into the process APPLY NOW!!! required-experience: 2-5 years
