Primary Duties & Responsibilities


  • Evaluate efficiency of work processes and identify and implements process improvements to optimize productivity.
  • Provides on-the-job skills and quality standards training to both new and seasoned employees in order to ensure that learning and self-development opportunities exist for production staff.
  • Meets with teams and lead workers to inform them of daily, weekly, and monthly production goals; encourage questions and suggestions and provides feedback on accomplishments and upcoming challenges to keep employees involved and motivated in accomplishing goals.
  • Oversee activities such as maintaining inventory levels, unloading, storage and movement of raw materials, and placement and loading of finished products for shipping and delivery.
  • Supervise manufacturing production to ensure that production and quality standards are achieved
  • Perform critical manufacturing production positions
  • Work safely following workplace safety practices set forth by CROFT & OSHA
  • Review daily operating reports and report operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues and shift events to superiors to prevent operational delays
  • Troubleshoot operational and tooling problems to improve quality and efficiency
  • Build and maintain a positive team oriented environment amongst production personnel


Educational/Training/Experience


  • Associates degree, Technical Diploma or equivalent manufacturing experience required
  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process. Detailed knowledge of the relationship between work centers and how variables at each work center affect other areas.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft office packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
