Public Label Agency is seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Production Manager to support with the planning and execution of small to large-scale events, activations, pop-ups, and other experiential marketing campaigns. This role is critical in ensuring seamless execution and high-quality production across all client projects. The Production Manager will work closely with vendors, internal teams, and external stakeholders to bring experiential concepts to life, while maintaining budgets, timelines, and creative integrity. Design depends on the project, with no creative design.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Production Manager to support us with the planning and execution of these projects.


Your Role & ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Production

  • Collaborate with the internal and external teams to support the development of event concepts, layouts, and production schedules.
  • Lead logistical planning, including venue research, vendor coordination, permits, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage the production of key experiential elements, such as staging, decor, signage, AV, catering, and custom fabrications.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, including florists, mixologists, caterers, fabricators, and AV teams, to ensure all deliverables meet scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Oversee setup, rehearsals, live event execution, and teardown, ensuring smooth operations on event day.
  • Provide training calls, oversee run of shows, and offer onsite event support.

Vendor Management

  • Identify, vet, and establish relationships with reliable vendors and production partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure all agreements are executed as planned.
  • Manage and track vendor deliverables to maintain timelines and uphold creative standards.

Project Management

  • Maintain detailed production schedules, tracking milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Ensure proper resource allocation for events, including staffing, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor and manage multiple concurrent projects, adapting to changing priorities and client needs.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Experiential Activation Producer to develop and track production budgets.
  • Source cost-effective solutions for production needs while maintaining quality.
  • Reconcile final budgets and provide reporting to senior leadership post-event.
  • Approve invoices on smaller projects.

Onsite Event Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, staff, and onsite teams during events.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time, maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Ensure all experiential elements align with creative vision and client expectations.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with internal teams, including account managers, creative, and strategy, to ensure cohesive event execution.
  • Provide regular updates to the Sr. Experiential Activation Producer on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support post-event debriefs, including creating recaps and documenting key learnings.

Creative & Technical Support

  • Assist in the creation of event renderings, floor plans, and production documents.
  • Ensure technical requirements, such as AV and lighting, are aligned with the overall event vision.
  • Recommend innovative production techniques and materials to enhance the attendee experience.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, or related fields.
  • Technical knowledge of production tools, budgeting software, Excel, and creative platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software (e.g., Sketch Up).
  • Proven ability to source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Strong experience managing budgets for experiential projects, with a focus on cost efficiency.
  • Understanding of experiential marketing trends, production best practices, and emerging event technologies.
