JOB DESCRIPTION: Production SchedulerThe production scheduler is responsible for planning and organizing the assembly schedule in the facility. The primary role is to ensure that assembly processes are efficient and timely to meet assembly goals. The role will further lead end to end change management processes.Essential Duties & Responsibilities1.Schedule Planning: Develop detailed production schedules based on factory capacity, material availability, and other constraints. Adjust schedules as needed to respond to production issues or changes in demand.2.Material Coordination: Work closely with procurement and inventory teams to ensure that all materials required for production are available when needed.3.Process Optimization: Analyze current production processes and schedules to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and output. Manage the end to end change management process associated with all assembly improvements.4.Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between different departments (e.g., assembly, warehouse, and quality) to ensure a smooth flow of operations and timely resolution of issues.5.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and reports on assembly progress and other relevant data. Present these findings to management in regular status meetings.6.Issue Resolution: Quickly address and resolve any scheduling conflicts or assembly delays, implementing contingency plans as necessary.7.Compliance and Safety: Ensure all scheduling activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards, including safety regulations.Qualifications:•High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in production planning or scheduling or related field preferred.•Proven experience in planning or scheduling within a production facility, or related role.•Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.•Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with vendors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.•Strong excel skills required; prior experience with ERP systems and lean processes are preferred.
