Production Coordinator Job at Grace Bible Church in San Antonio

JOB OVERVIEW / OBJECTIVE 

The role of the Production Coordinator (PC) is to support the vision of Grace Bible Church by overseeing the technical and production aspects of live worship for Sunday services under the direction and leadership of the Worship Director. This will require a firm grasp of the beliefs, values, and strategy of Grace Bible Church and the ability to align staff and key leadership teams with its mission, vision, and values. This role is responsible for the coordination and administration of the creative design process, weekend services, production elements, equipment, and videography. 

JOB CATEGORY 
Full-time hourly, non-exempt 

 PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Oversee all technical systems related to live Sunday services, including sound reinforcement, video projection, lighting, and cameras. 
• Lead, recruit, train, and develop production team volunteers. 
• Ensure the correct stage setup for weekend services, rehearsals, and events. 
• Schedule production team staff and volunteers for weekend services and other events. 
• Collaborate with ministry departments to plan and produce services and special events. 
• Keep track of media technology issues and repairs. 
• Develop and prepare all weekend service slides in ProPresenter. 
• Assist in setting up for events, including but not limited to: stage and lighting setup, audio system patching and setup, camera setup, and A/V/L carts. 
• Facilitate media file production and ensure song lyrics, images, and moving backgrounds are loaded. 
• Record video and audio of worship services for the online broadcast of weekend services. 
• Visually communicate the mission of our church by transforming ideas and stories into compelling narratives through video content and creation.   

GRACE STAFF EXPECTATIONS 

• Attend staff meetings as needed and 1:1 meetings with the Campus Pastor. 
• Meet regularly with the Campus Pastor for planning and preparation. 
• Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ, sustained through the practice of personal spiritual disciplines. 
• Embody Christlikeness and leads with humility, character, and love. 
• Demonstrate commitment to unity and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment. 
• Be personally engaged with GBC’s mission, vision, and strategy. 
• Support GBC’s beliefs, values, and practices as outlined in the Doctrinal Statement. 
• Maintain annual Ministry Partner agreement. 
• Remain up to date on all activities and ministries going on at all GBC campuses to disseminate general information when needed.
