About the Role The Global Associate Recruiting Coordinator is an integral part of Latham’s Associate Recruiting team and will be responsible for supporting firmwide recruiting efforts, including the summer program, entry-level hiring, and campus outreach, while serving as a liaison to law schools and executing associate recruiting strategies. This role will be located in either our Century City, New York, Washington, D.C. or San Diego offices. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. Responsibilities & Qualifications Other key responsibilities include: Developing relationships with and serving as the firm liaison to law schools, career services colleagues, student organizations, vendors, and other recruitment professionals Coordinating firmwide logistics for the summer program, including planning orientation, programming, and events Coordinating firmwide logistics for entry-level hiring of associates, including application launch, back-end ATS management, and administrative support Keeping up-to-date on the legal hiring market, including trends and policies Developing budgets and monitoring recruiting expenses Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains We’d love to hear from you if you: Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm Display the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal And have: A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent A minimum of three (3) years of experience in legal recruitment or professional services Benefits & Additional Information Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
