Hired In Michigan Community Empowerment is hiring: Recruiting Manager in Utica

We are recruiting a Recruiting Director Retail Stores for a company located in Metro Detroit. The position is a full-time, direct hire with a comprehensive competitive salary and company benefits and incentives.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit hourly, non-exempt hires for multiple roles and functions across a region or specific facility

• Source and thoroughly evaluate candidates; check personal qualifications against job requirements

• Develop relationships with hiring managers to establish recruitment profiles

• Qualify candidates through behavioral interview techniques, skills assessments, and background checks

• Provide an aggressive hiring plan; build confidence and credibility with hiring managers; present candidate synopsis and recommendations to hiring managers.

• Coordinate on-site interviews; conduct, analyze, and discuss reference checks with hiring managers.

• Finalize offers to candidates; coordinate on-boarding

• Use and maintain applicant tracking system; EEO compliance tracking.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 2-4 years of recruiting experience, with measurable results showing quality hires

• Strong organizational & analytical skills, and problem solving ability

• Sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where collaboration is key

• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other applications

• Familiarity with Workday applicant tracking system
