Full Job Description
Mint Cannabis is looking for a Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist to join our team in our Phoenix office. The specialist is responsible for creating strategic staffing approaches to attract a wide pool of qualified talent for the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong social and leadership skills, experienced negotiating strategies, and excellent organizational abilities. He/she should be familiar with developing recruitment marketing strategies that effectively attract and retain top talent.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
- Post jobs and ads across strategic locations to attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants.
- Sourced and screened resumes, focusing on retail associates, inventory, and hourly roles.
- Conduct initial screenings to vet candidates for qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interviews for individuals and panels, ensuring a seamless process.
- Collect and communicate interview feedback to applicants promptly and professionally.
Strategic Recruitment
- Manage all stages of the recruitment process, from sourcing to offer.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand hiring needs and implement strategies to meet them.
- Develop and execute creative recruiting tactics to attract high-quality candidates.
- Draft and revise job descriptions to accurately reflect role requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand team dynamics and ensure the best candidate match.
Onboarding
- Ensure onboarding files, including job offers and background checks, are complete and compliant.
- Facilitate background checks and obtain facility agent credentials as needed.
- Gather required onboarding documents and oversee the new hire onboarding process.
Administrative Duties
- Schedule interviews and prepare customized interview questions.
- Attend job fairs and recruitment events to promote the organization and engage with potential candidates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support recruitment initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Has a strong record of reliable attendance.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of direct recruiting experience managing all phases of the process
- Excellent time management abilities and a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Applicant must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services.
