We are looking for a Human Resource Generalist who would be excited and passionate about growing our company. The HR Generalist would be overseeing the entire recruitment process. This would including updating job descriptions, posting positions, screening all applicants to determine if they meeting the position requirements, prescreening interviews, offers, background checks, and onboarding once ready for hire. Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm onsite office based in St Petersburg FL

  • Recruiting and interviewing skills required
  • Computer, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel experience required
  • Familiarity with relevant employment Law and labor regulations required
  • Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant field required
  • 5 years of prior experience as an HR Recruiter required
  • Sound knowledge of all HR processes (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, training, talent management etc.)
  • Experience with resume HRIS system required preferably with ADP
  • Sound knowledge of full-cycle recruiting
  • Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills necessary
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills necessary
  • Experience in a Nonprofit environment highly preferred

Clear Criminal Background Check throughout employment with Suncoast Center and local checks prior to hire and annually along with DCF Level II prior to hire and as required by DCF, and Must have valid Florida Driver’s License Motor Vehicle checks prior to hire and annually with acceptable driving record maintained throughout employment along with reliable vehicle, valid registration, and valid vehicle insurance. (must be in compliance with Florida Laws and Administrative Codes with fingerprinting and determined to be of good moral character).
