Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Type of Position: Full-Time

Shift(s): 1st and 2nd

Reports to: Upper-Level Management

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Starting Hourly Rate: $14.50

Location: 3700 David Howarth Drive Lafayette, IN 47909

Job Summary: Operates and runs machinery with proper components and by performing the following duties. Produces and inspects parts by working on a line.

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

· Follows all safety procedures when operating machinery

· Inspects parts for quality issues

· Informs management of all quality issues

· Follows standard work procedures to perform job duties

· Maintains 5S Standards

· Assists in performing preventative maintenance assignments

· Performs machine set ups

· Understands individual process stations on all equipment

· Clears all faults and restarts machinery

· Supports continuous improvement programs

Competencies:

· Effective Written/Verbal Communication Skills

· Ability to Learn and Follow Standard Work Instructions

· Flexibility with Performing Tasks According to Plant Needs

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· 6 Months of Related Experience and/or Training

Mathematical Skills:

· Ability to Work with Basic Mathematical Concepts

Physical Demands:

· Required to Stand, Walk, Sit, Talk, and Hear

· Plant is Not Climate-Controlled

· May be Required to Lift and/or Move up to 50 Pounds Daily
