As the Vice President of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and cost-effective practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive manufacturing strategy that supports the company's growth goals and aligns with industry trends.
- Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality control measures to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee the procurement, inventory management, and logistics functions to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize costs.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, ensuring that operations are conducted within allocated resources.
- Safety and Compliance: Prioritize safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles within the metal building industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
