Vice President of Manufacturing

Position Summary:

As the Vice President of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and cost-effective practices. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive manufacturing strategy that supports the company's growth goals and aligns with industry trends.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality control measures to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee the procurement, inventory management, and logistics functions to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, ensuring that operations are conducted within allocated resources.
  • Safety and Compliance: Prioritize safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles within the metal building industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
