Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our seafood manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing production processes, improving product quality, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality in seafood production.

* Collaborate with the maintenance team to design, implement, and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

* Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure all products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, including HACCP and FDA guidelines.

* Lead and participate in projects aimed at process improvement, cost reduction, and new product development. Monitor project progress and report on outcomes.

* Provide technical assistance to production teams, addressing issues related to equipment operation, production methods, and process challenges.

* Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas for improvement. Utilize statistical methods to support decision-making.

* Develop and deliver training programs for production staff on new processes, equipment, and safety protocols.

* Work closely with Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions into manufacturing processes.

* Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, ensuring compliance in all engineering practices and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the seafood or food processing industry.

* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and safety standards.

* Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

* Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and process optimization methodologies.
